My Story

In many ways, fitness saved me more than once throughout my life. I got into fitness at a young age when I was bullied for my weight in grade school. It was an escape for me and helped me deal with my mental health issues as a child and early adolescent. Two years later I hit my growth spurt, started running track, and discovered two passions that have stuck with me ever since: bodybuilding and powerlifting.

I devoted countless hours to learning from bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane, and Dorian Yates and implementing what I learned in the weight room. I loved it. It was an escape for me and helped me deal with my mental health issues as a teenager.

Going into college, I had quite a leg up on my fellow students regarding nutrition and exercise knowledge. But the anxiety and bouts of depression remained... I was missing something... That's when I started researching more natural methods for beating anxiety, and I realized something incredible: the potential of the human brain.

I began engaging in daily mindfulness and mindset tactics. Not only did I silence the pain in my chest, but I created an even deeper relationship with myself and others. My scope of passions grew more significant, and my love for exercise pushed me to become a better person. I was empowered.

Exercise is Medicine, that's the mantra that I subscribe to, and with the combination of proper nutrition and a steadfast mindset, you can live your healthiest life, always.

When you train with me, you can expect not only to reach your fitness goals, but to become a happier human being through my nutritional guidance and mindfulness tactics.
