My Story
In many ways, fitness has saved my life—more than once. I was first drawn to it in grade school after being bullied for my weight. At the time, it became my escape—a safe haven to cope with anxiety and self-doubt. Two years later, I hit a growth spurt, joined the track team, and discovered two passions that have shaped my life ever since: bodybuilding and powerlifting.
I poured countless hours into learning from legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane, and Dorian Yates, testing everything I learned in the weight room. Strength training gave me a sense of control and identity during a time when I felt lost.
By the time I entered college, I already had a solid foundation in nutrition and exercise. But despite my physical progress, anxiety and bouts of depression still lingered. Something was missing. That’s when I began exploring more natural approaches to mental health and discovered the incredible potential of the human brain.
Through daily mindfulness practices and mindset training, I learned to quiet the internal chaos and build a deeper connection with myself and others. As my mindset evolved, so did my approach to fitness. It stopped being just about aesthetics or performance—and became a path to personal growth, purpose, and empowerment.
